The event is designed to connect recent graduates at any level with professionals and peers in the fields of technology, education, and organizational development. New York City community college graduates with relevant bachelor degrees are invited.
Members of PLTG will share their personal experiences and career paths, offering valuable insight for those navigating similar transitions.

Barbara Darby

Barbara began her professional journey as an elementary school teacher in Houston, TX, before transitioning to a career in information technology training at various law firms in the Washington, DC area. Over the last 25+ years, she has contributed her expertise to several major law firms and currently serves as the Training and Applications Support Specialist at Klein Hornig LLP. In this role, Barbara integrates technology into legal practice by delivering comprehensive training on multiple applications, managing projects, and conducting thorough testing of software prior to deployment to attorneys and staff. Additionally, she provides ongoing support for firm applications and assists with service desk operations and is constantly expanding her knowledge in technology.
Barbara holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Texas Southern University and a master’s degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Houston. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she is actively involved with her local church and participates on the boards of several non-profit organizations. Her personal interests include walking, traveling, capturing travel experiences through photography, and spending quality time with family.
Crystal Williamson

Crystal Williamson began her technology career at Channel 13/NY PBS local station as the go‑to person for fixing printers – remember when dot‑matrix printers were still a thing??! She moved on to Catapult (corporate and technical training on-demand) and trained and supported systems through the Y2K era. Since the early 2000s, she has worked at multiple “big law” law firms as a consultant and trainer. For the past 12 years (!) at Dechert LLP, she has delivered instructor‑led, virtual, and digital training across firm offices and time zones as a member of the global training team. She partners with practice and administrative teams to identify training needs and support successful technology adoption across the firm. She collaborates closely with IT and regional teams, contributes to software testing and readiness, and serves as a subject matter expert for the firm’s Learning Management System.

Daryl Fitzpatrick

Daryl Fitzpatrick is the Chief Revenue Officer at Intellek. During his tenure at Intellek, Daryl has helped a vast number of firms transform their training capability through the adoption of powerful learning technology, and the introduction of formal training process. Understanding that the everchanging demands of legal technology puts real pressure on trainers, Daryl is always on hand to offer advice and solutions to overcome business hurdles presented by change.
With a desire to help firms gain competitive advantage through staff development, Daryl takes a partnership approach to help trainers best position training to leadership and showcase relevant ROI to extend their reach within the firm.
Roberta Gelb

Roberta Gelb is a well-known professional, having established authority on productivity, software and office systems solutions for law firms and businesses. She has substantial expertise in systems design, implementation, training and the "human factors" associated with effective use and implementation of technology. In 1984, Roberta founded Chelsea Office Systems, a unique software consulting and training company that provides custom productivity recommendation, application programming and development, education, and on-site support to law firms and corporations. Roberta was a member of the Legaltech News Editorial Advisory Board and serves on the Program Committee of the Professional Legal Trainers Group. She is extremely active in the community, served on the Board of the NY State Breast Cancer Network; the Scientific Advisory Board of Consano, and volunteering for animal rescue programs in the New York area.
Jaimes Lee

Jaimes Lee is a Learning & Development Specialist at Traveling Coaches, where she designs and develops training programs across cybersecurity awareness, data privacy, respectful workplace practices, and professional development.
With a background in creative media, marketing, and directing, she specializes in translating complex, high-stakes content into learning experiences designed for recognition and response—helping people see themselves in the work and act with greater confidence.
As a speaker, Jaimes explores professional growth, neurodiversity, and the ways people build confidence and influence over time. Her perspective is shaped by a non-linear career path and a commitment to helping others recognize the value of their skills.
She is passionate about creating space for more honest conversations about how careers actually develop—and helping others navigate paths that don’t follow a single, predictable track.
