Monthly Meeting

The Board of Directors meets monthly to advance our organization’s mission and operations. 

Typical Agenda

1. Roll call and confirmation of quorum
2. Feedback on the previous member event
3. Status update on action items
4. Financial report and review
5. Committee reports and updates
6. Consideration of motions and resolutions
7. General discussion and new business

Board Positions and Responsibilities

• President: Provides general leadership, act as general representative to outside groups, nominate chairpersons for committees, and preside at General Meetings.
• VP/Secretary: Maintains meeting minutes, manages records, ensures compliance.
• VP/Membership: Promote and communicate the nature and intent of the Corporation to identified law firms and/or legal trainers to maintain and cultivate membership, follow up on prospective member inquiries.
• Treasurer: Oversees finances, prepares reports, manages budgets.
• Past President: Assist with a smooth transition between outgoing and incoming directors, ensure duties are properly assigned, and highlight relevant historical precedents for the Board.
• Vendor Representative: represent Vendor/Consultant Member interests and research and present new ideas in technology for possible General Meeting topics.

Members are encouraged to join committees, attend program meetings, share ideas, and consider board service. Join a committee at any time. Nominations for board positions are accepted from mid-Sept through the October meeting, with elections held in November.
