Nicole Black is a Rochester, New York attorney, author, journalist, and Principal Legal Insight Strategist at 8am, the team behind MyCase, CasePeer, DocketWise, and LawPay legal billing and payment processing software. She is the nationally recognized author of "Cloud Computing for Lawyers" (2012) and co-author of "Social Media for Lawyers: The Next Frontier" (2010), both published by the American Bar Association. She was also the co-author of "Criminal Law in New York," a Thomson Reuters treatise. She writes regular columns for Above the Law, ABA Journal, and The Daily Record, has authored hundreds of articles for other publications, and regularly speaks at conferences regarding the intersection of law and emerging technologies. Joe Davis is the Practice Solutions Manager for Fried Frank
Joe has spent over 25 years in legal technology at law firms, in the corporate legal space, and at legal tech start-ups. He co-chairs ILTA’s Local Experience Council and is a frequent speaker and author on topics including AI, KM and enterprise content management. He earned his MBA from NJIT and completed an AI program at MIT. Joe has also been a teacher, an entrepreneur, a musician, a real estate investor and a DJ in a flea market.
