While each day in a law firm may not end with all of the storylines and issues wrapped up like an episode of a TV show like MacGyver, there is no doubt that there are a lot of similar elements.

From the unexpected events and challenges, to the need to outsmart the bad guys (or bad documents), we all need to stay flexible, be resourceful, and solve problems in innovative ways.

Grab your pens, paper clips, duct tape, and creativity and join us for an interactive experience where you get to explore new ways to engage your learners, reimagine content, and add tools to your tool belt so you will have people who can’t wait to see the next season of your learning program.

Also, watch the Member Discussion Forum for clues to a special guest star who will be appearing. If you can figure out their identity before the next meeting you will be entered in a drawing for a prize.

Valary Oleinik is one part artist, one part geek, and 100% committed to finding ways to help people develop and deliver more engaging and effective learning experiences. She is a project manager at Weil Gotshal & Manges, where she has been involved in all aspects of training and development. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the USDLA (United States Distance Learning Association). Her unique, creative approaches to training have earned her repeated invitations to speak at gamification and learning and development conferences across the US and Canada.

She has two furry assistants, a cat named Shadow and a bunny named Butterscotch, whose lack of opposable thumbs makes them lousy typists, and a husband who lovingly puts up with her quirky shenanigans of gamifying anything that she can get her hands on.
