Learn the basics of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and how this process improvement methodology applies to law firms. You will be introduced to Six Sigma and LEAN, DMAIC, the tools most often used when implementing a process improvement project, understanding the Voice of the Customer, the purpose and practice of process mapping the current state of a process, identifying value added vs non value added activity, and the importance of collecting and measuring metrics to improve quality and efficiency. At the end of the session, an example of a process improvement initiative for law firms will be presented via a short case study on redesigning the role of the legal secretary through process improvement driven by LSS.

This topic will also be of interest to Secretarial Services and Human Resources, so you may want to invite others in your firm to attend this important session to learn about this very hot topic.
